Finalists for UW Registrar to Give Public Presentation

Two candidates for the position of registrar at the University of Wyoming will give public presentations April 19 and April 24 on the topic “Emerging Issues Relevant to the Office of the Registrar.”

Students, faculty and staff are invited to attend both sessions, ask questions and evaluate the candidates.

Dave Micus is a former registrar at the University of Montana and current registrar at King Abdullah University of Science and Technology. His presentation is at 9 a.m. Friday, April 19, in the Wyoming Union West Ballroom.

Lara Medley is currently the registrar at the Colorado School of Mines in Golden, Colo. Her public presentation is at 9 a.m. Wednesday, April 24, in the Wyoming Union East Ballroom.

A screening committee chaired by Steve Barrett, associate dean in the College of Engineering and Applied Science, narrowed the pool of applicants and recommended the finalists to Sara Axelson, vice president for student affairs.
