University Disability Support Services (UDSS) presented its “Going the Extra Mile” award to University of Wyoming faculty and staff. They were recognized for “demonstrating qualities of knowledge, sensitivity and helpfulness in assisting students with disabilities at the University of Wyoming.”
“Going the Extra Mile” recipients are:

Garret Cruzant, ParaTransit Advisory Committee co-chair.
JJ Shinker, Department of Geography.
Nathan Vasek, Laramie County Community College Mathematics Department.
Elizabeth Whitt, ParaTransit Advisory Committee co-chair.
Each honoree received a framed certificate of appreciation and a letter to acknowledge their achievement. UDSS is a unit within UW Student Educational Opportunity.
