Tickets go on sale Monday, July 15, at the University of Wyoming for the Toby Keith concert Saturday, July 27, at Cheyenne Frontier Days (CFD).
Tickets cost $20 for UW students with ID and $25 for non-students. Tickets can be obtained at the Wyoming Union information desk. A bus will leave from in front of the Wyoming Union at 4 p.m. the day of the concert; the concert begins at 8 p.m.
An award-winning country music star, Keith and was named Entertainer of The Year by the Academy of Country Music in 2002 and 2003. His hits include "Should've Been a Cowboy"; “How Do You Like Me Now?”; "I Wanna Talk About Me"; "My List"; "Courtesy of the Red, White, & Blue (The Angry American)"; "Who's Your Daddy?"; "Beer for My Horses" (a duet with Willie Nelson); "Whiskey Girl"; "As Good as I Once Was"; and "Red Solo Cup.” He has had 20 singles reach No. 1 during his career.
“His music has been famous all over the world, and he is known for his talent with a guitar and his deep vocals,” says Patricia Rader, UW Summer Programs coordinator. “His music is energetic and will bring a very large crowd to CFD.”
