Tuesday, July 23, 10:30 a.m. -- Artists Gerald Lang and Jennifer Anne Tucker will discuss their work on view in the exhibition, "The Botanical Series," UW Art Museum. Free.
Wednesday, July 24, 11:45 a.m.-1 p.m. -- The Magic Beans will perform in the Summer Programs concert series on Simpson Plaza. Free.
Wednesday, July 24, 1:30 p.m. -- UW alumnus and historian Michael Amundson will discuss his book, “Passage to Wonderland,” in Coe Library, Room 506. A book signing will follow from 3:30-5:30 p.m. at the Grand Newsstand, 214 Grand Ave.
Wednesday, July 24, 7 p.m. -- The Snowy Range Summer Dance Festival Student Showcase Concert, College of Arts and Sciences auditorium. Free.
Saturday, July 27, 10:30 a.m. -- “An Herbalist's Perspective: An Informal Discussion with Jennifer Anne Tucker,” UW Art Museum. Free.
Saturday, July 27, 4 p.m. -- The Snowy Range Summer Dance Festival Gala Concert, College of Arts and Sciences auditorium. Tickets cost $10 in advance, $12 at the door, available at the Fine Arts box office, (307) 766-6666.
A variety of exhibitions is on display at the UW Art Museum, located in the Centennial Complex at 2111 Willett Drive, open Mondays through Saturdays, 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Free.
The UW Geological Museum is open Tuesdays through Fridays from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. and from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. weekends. Free.
