UW Trustees Approve Retirements, Acknowledge Resignations


September 16, 2013 — The University of Wyoming Board of Trustees, during its Sept. 13 meeting, approved the following retirements with emeritus or emerita designation:

College of Agriculture and Natural Resources

Alan C. Schroeder, professor, Department of Agricultural and Applied Economics; Douglas L. Hixon, professor, Department of Animal Science; Thomas l. Thurow and Stephen E. Williams, professors, Department of Ecosystem Science and Management; and James K. Wangberg, professor, Department of Plant Sciences.
