October 16, 2013

Gallery 234 exhibition applications for the spring semester will be accepted through 5 p.m. Friday, Nov. 8, at the University of Wyoming Campus Activities Center.

Gallery 234 is an educational gallery that provides a space for “creative and critical expression of the visual arts,” and offers “exhibitions of social responsibility and artistic substance” for UW, according to the gallery’s mission statement.

Any UW individual can apply, including undergraduate and graduate students and faculty and staff members. An application form can be found at www.uwyo.edu/union/cac/gallery234/exhibit-application.html. The Gallery 234 advisory committee will review each application.

Gallery 234 has hosted a variety of exhibitions this semester. Photographs are common, but other media such as storytelling, drawings, paintings and sculptures have been represented in the past.
