Wyoming Public Media (WPM) continues to expand its online presence with a new music series, “Single Shot Live.”

“Wyoming’s diverse music scene and WPM’s proximity to I-80 provides opportunities for bands from within the state and beyond to stop by the studios for live performances and interviews,” says Micah Schweizer, WPM Cultural Affairs and Production director. “The series also features performances by University of Wyoming faculty and students.

“As the name implies, ‘Single Shot Live’ features one song, plus some remarks from the artist, presented as an audio slide show,” Schweizer adds.

Anna Rader, WPM web manager and series co-producer, says wyomingpublicmedia.org visitors have an opportunity to discover new artists and expand their musical horizons.

“It adds to WPM’s local content and allows us to highlight what makes Wyoming special,” she says.

“Single Shot Live” features a new song each week at http://wyomingpublicmedia.org/programs/single-shot-live, as well as on WPM’s YouTube and SoundCloud channels.

“There’s so much great music happening in Wyoming,” Schweizer says. “We’re excited to share everything from jazz to rock to classical music. There’s something for everyone.”
