November 20, 2013 — The Kappa Kappa Gamma sorority at the University of Wyoming will host an all-you-can-eat chili fundraiser to benefit its favorite causes Saturday, Nov. 23, from 1-4 p.m.
The Kappa con Chili fundraising event will take place at the Kappa Kappa Gamma house during UW’s final home football game. Tickets for regular and vegetarian chili cost $5 for adults and $4 for children under 12 and can be purchased at the door.
The sorority will split the proceeds among Relay for Life, a fundraising campaign of the American Cancer Society; Reading is Fundamental, a nonprofit literacy organization; and the Kappa Kappa Gamma Foundation, a scholarship fundraising foundation. Book donations for Reading is Fundamental are encouraged.
“The event will allow us to reach out to the community that already does so much for us,” says Natalie Basolo, Kappa Kappa Gamma philanthropy chairman. “Our goal is to give back to the community as much as possible.”
