UWPD Seeks Help in Locating Flasher

November 8, 2013

The University of Wyoming Police Department is looking for help to identify a person involved in two reported cases of lewd conduct.

At about 6 p.m. Oct. 30 near the Buchanan Center for the Performing Arts, and at about 10 p.m. Nov. 6 near the Crane-Hill cafeteria, witnesses say a thin white man with short hair exposed his genitalia to female complainants. In the first incident, the man was wearing a black hoodie; in the second, he was wearing a red hoodie.

If you have information about this suspect, please call the UWPD at 766-5179, or you can text anonymously using the key word UWYO to TIP411 (847411).

The UWPD reminds the campus community that “flashing” constitutes the crime of indecent exposure or lewd conduct, carrying a penalty of up to six months in jail and/or a fine of up to $750.
