UW Annual Juried Student Exhibition Artwork Being Accepted

All University of Wyoming undergraduate, graduate or post-baccalaureate students can submit artwork for cash awards during the UW Art Museum’s “39th Annual Juried University of Wyoming Student Exhibition.”

To submit artwork, visit www.callforentry.org and click on “How to Apply.” Create a profile, and then search for the event. The submission deadline is Friday, Dec. 20, at midnight.

Original artwork, including paintings, drawings, prints, photography, sculptures, graphic designs, ceramics and mixed media, may be submitted. Two-dimensional works must be ready to hang (matted and framed under glass or Plexiglas). Three-dimensional works must be stable; bases will be provided.

A maximum of three works per student may be submitted. If selected, students must provide the artwork’s title, date, size and medium. All works must specify a price or be listed as “Not for Sale” and have an insurance value.

Artwork that has been chosen will be posted Jan. 7, and must be delivered to the UW Art Museum between 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 16, and Friday, Jan. 17. The award ceremony will be from 6-8 p.m. Friday, Jan. 31.

Nina Johnson-Milewski, director and owner of Gallery Diet in Miami, Fla., will be the show’s juror.
