January 27, 2014 — Nominations are being accepted now for an opportunity to win some of the more than $18,000 in cash and prizes to be awarded at this year’s University of Wyoming Staff Recognition Day event.

Staff senators say many of the awards include $1,000 or more to the recipient. The deadline to submit nominations is Monday, March 3. All award winners will be honored at Staff Recognition Day, Wednesday, April 16, at the Crane-Hill dining hall.

“We encourage you to take a few minutes to identify deserving staff members for their efforts toward excellence in the workplace,” says Jim Logue, Staff Senate president. “Peer recognition is an important factor in boosting job satisfaction, productivity and overall morale, so please take advantage of this opportunity.”

The awards criteria and nomination forms can be found on the Staff Senate website at www.uwyo.edu/staffsenate/recognition/awards/index.html.
