January 27, 2014 — The deadline is Friday, Feb. 14, to nominate individuals for student and faculty awards for internationalization.
The International Board of Advisors established the awards in 2001 to recognize faculty and academic professionals who have demonstrated excellence in promoting internationalization at the University of Wyoming.
The awards include an honorarium of $500 for students, $1,000 for staff and $2,000 for faculty. Students and faculty winners will be honored at a special awards banquet this spring.
“These are prestigious, campus-wide awards and are highly competitive,” says Anne Alexander, UW International Programs director. “The attendees at the spring recognition banquet include campus, industry and statewide leaders who believe our campus has a special place in ensuring global literacy for our students, faculty and staff.”
