Final Week to View Juried Student Exhibition at the UW Art Museum

February 25, 2014 — The final day to view the “Annual Juried UW Student Exhibition” at the UW Art Museum is Saturday, March 1.

A selection from the exhibition will be on view in the Centennial Complex Gallery from March 8-22. These works will be used during the Art Museum’s Spring Break Art Camp. The gallery is located inside the front entrance to the Centennial Complex, immediately to the right.

Now in its 39th year, the “Annual Juried UW Student Exhibition” is an opportunity for students to gain professional experience by participating in a museum exhibition. A different juror from outside the state is invited each year to select the work for exhibition. This year’s juror was Nina Johnson-Milewski, owner of Gallery Diet in Miami.

For more information, call the Art Museum at (307) 766-6622 or visit www.uwyo.edu/artmuseum or its blog at www.uwyoartmuseum.org. Follow the museum on Facebook at www.facebook.com/uwyoartmuseum.

Through its Museum as Classroom approach, the UW Art Museum places art at the center of learning for all ages. The museum is located in the Centennial Complex at 2111 Willett Drive in Laramie. Hours are Tuesdays through Saturdays from 10 a.m.–5 p.m. and from 10 a.m.-9  p.m. Mondays. Admission is free.
