February 3, 2014 — Implementation details and plans for the rollout of the University of Wyoming’s new outcomes-based general education requirements will be explained during a series of four town hall meetings that begins Thursday, Feb. 6.
The University Studies Program Task Force has worked to fine-tune the report, “University Studies Program 2015,” since the Faculty Senate accepted it last fall. Since that time, task force members have worked diligently to finalize implementation details and rollout of the new general education program.
“We will share the latest information on the course approval process, first-year seminar development, the communication course sequence and faculty workshops,” task force members say. “We welcome your comments, questions and suggestions as we move forward to the fall 2015 rollout.”
