A poster promotes the award-winning documentary “Chasing Ice” that can be seen Tuesday at 7:30 p.m. at the Berry Center auditorium.

These are among activities scheduled April 14-20 at the University of Wyoming:

Monday, April 14, 7 p.m. – “Starstruck: The Fine Art of Astrophotography: A Faculty and Community Response,” UW Art Museum. Free.

Tuesday, April 15, 7 p.m. -- Earth Month film “Chasing Ice,” Berry Biodiversity Conservation Center auditorium. Free.

Tuesday, April 15, 8 a.m.-2 p.m. -- Last day for donations for the “Earth Week Clothing Drive,” Wyoming Union breezeway.

Wednesday, April 16, 10 a.m.-noon -- Staff Recognition Day, Crane Hall dining area. Free.

Wednesday, April 16, 4:10 p.m. -- Faculty Senate Speaker Series features Department of Atmospheric Science Professor Bart Geerts discussing “Enhanced Water Recovery from Clouds: Is it Possible?,” Classroom Building Room 306. Free.

Wednesday, April 16, 6-8 p.m. -- Central Asian Awareness Day, Wyoming Union Yellowstone Ballroom. Free.

Wednesday, April 16, 6:30-9 p.m. -- Advocates and Allies Movie Night, Law School Building Room 170. Free.

Wednesday, April 16, 7 p.m. -- Reading by Chris Cokinos on “Skin, a Sky Sometimes,” UW Art Museum. Free.

Thursday, April 17, 7 p.m. -- The Cooper House film series “Songs in Films” features Martin Scorsese’s “Goodfellas,” UW Cooper House. Free.

Thursday, April 17, 7:30 p.m. -- Department of Music Faculty Recital Series presents “River of Light,” Buchanan Center for the Performing Arts concert hall. Free.

Friday, April 18, 7 p.m. -- Planetarium show, “Looking for Life,” followed at 8 p.m. by “Jimi Hendrix Experience.” Tickets for each show cost $3 for adults, $2 for students and free to children under 12. Enter through the southwest doors of the Physical Sciences Building.

A variety of exhibitions can be seen at the UW Art Museum in the Centennial Complex, 2111 Willett Drive, open Tuesdays through Saturdays from 10 a.m.-5 p.m. and Mondays from 10 a.m.-9 p.m. Free.
