April 14, 2014 — Information Technology will present a series of informational town meetings to explain new features and how to obtain information on the University of Wyoming’s new WyoWeb page that will be launched Friday, May 16.
The redesign will significantly change the look and feel of WyoWeb but, at the same time, make access to services and information more intuitive, says Jen Chavez, IT’s director of Application and Database Services.
“WyoWeb is being redesigned to help create a portal page that is simplified and provides students, faculty and staff with direct access to commonly used services and useful information,” she says. “The new WyoWeb page is designed to remove clutter and streamline the process of directing people to the services they need to access.”
Following is the schedule of the town hall meetings that will include demonstrations and opportunities to ask questions about the WyoWeb changes:
Tuesday, April 22, 12:10-1 p.m. in the College of Agriculture and Natural Resources auditorium. This meeting will focus on how the changes will affect faculty members. Snacks will be provided.
Wednesday, April 23, 2:30-3:30 p.m., Room 129 of the College of Business Building. This meeting will be a general session. Snacks will be provided.
Tuesday, April 29, noon-1 p.m. in the Wyoming Union Family Room. This meeting will focus on how the changes will affect students. Snacks will be provided.
