May 12, 2014 — The University of Wyoming’s new, user-friendly WyoWeb page will be launched Friday, May 16.
The redesign will significantly change the look and feel of WyoWeb but, at the same time, make access to services and information more intuitive, says Jen Chavez, Information Technology’s director of Application and Database Services.
“We redesigned WyoWeb to create a simplified portal page that provides students, faculty and staff with direct access to commonly used services and useful information,” she says. “The new WyoWeb page is designed to remove clutter and streamline the process of directing people to the services they need to access.”
Information Technology will offer a demonstration and discussion about the WyoWeb changes during a general session Tuesday, May 13, at 10 a.m. in the College of Business auditorium. A comprehensive web page with details about the changes, including a link to frequently asked questions and an opportunity to offer comments, can be found at www.uwyo.edu/infotech/wyoweb/.
