Archery Battle Sept. 12 at West Fraternity Mall

September 8, 2014

Friday Night Fever’s next fun event for University of Wyoming students is an archery battle at 7 p.m. Friday, Sept. 12, on West Fraternity Mall.

Archery games are played with soft-tipped bows, and points are awarded for hitting players and targets -- similar to paintball courses.

Also the same night, the movie, “22 Jump Street,” will be shown in the Wyoming Union Family Room at 6:30, 9 and 11 p.m. “22 Jump Street” stars Jonah Hill and Channing Tatum as two undercover cops posing as college students. The pair tests their partnership and their maturity in this comedic sequel to “21 Jump Street.”

Tickets to comedian Nick Offerman’s show will be given away at the Friday Night Fever’s three movie show times. He is scheduled to perform Friday, Sept. 19, at 8 p.m. in the UW College of Arts and Sciences auditorium. Offerman is best known for his work on the hit television series "Parks and Recreation" as Ron Swanson.
