Mentalist Christopher Carter will perform Friday, Sept. 26, at 9 p.m. in the University of Wyoming Union Ballroom.

The Friday Night Fever event is free and open to both students and non-students.

Carter, who has appeared at more than 2,500 college campuses, previously received Entertainer of the Year, Performing Artist of the Year, along with many other major awards in the industry. He says he has been interested in the mind since childhood and now uses his abilities for reading body language and nonverbal communication to “wow” audiences.

“He blends both comedy and amazement into his show, making him one of the highest-rated college campus entertainers,” according to a review.

Carter’s show includes audience involvement and consists of mind readings, predictions and his famous “light bulb Illusion.” For more information about Carter’s show, visit www.christophercartermentalist.com.

Friday Night Fever also offers free showings of Seth MacFarlane’s “A Million Ways to Die in the West,” Sept. 26 at 6:30, 9 and 11:30 p.m. in the Wyoming Union Family Room.

The comedy is about a cowardly sheep farmer named Albert Stark (MacFarlane) living in the 1882 American West, where everything can kill you. But when a mysterious woman named Anna (Charlize Theron) rides into town, Albert must learn to be a Western hero to defeat Anna’s villainous husband.
