UW Friday Night Fever Hosts Casino Night Sept. 5

September 4, 2014

Friday Night Fever hosts the annual Casino Night program at 9 p.m. Friday, Sept. 5, in the Wyoming Union lower level. The event is open to University of Wyoming students with a valid IDs.

Students can play casino games, such as slot machines, poker and blackjack, for chances to win prizes. Tokens will be used instead of actual money. In the past, prizes have included mountain bikes, iPads and gift cards.

The film “Captain America: The Winter Soldier” will be shown in the Wyoming Union Family Room at 6:30, 9 and 11:30 p.m., also Friday, Sept. 5. The plot involves the character Steve Rogers who struggles to embrace his role in the modern world and battles a new threat from old history: the Soviet agent known as the Winter Soldier.
