The University of Wyoming Student Activities Council hosts two movies as a drive-in movie theater program Wednesday, Sept. 10, in the Summit View Parking Lot located at Willett Drive and 22nd Street.
“The Goonies” will be shown beginning at dusk, followed by “Neighbors.” Both movies can be heard through a vehicle’s radio. The event is free, but space is limited. Spectators may begin to fill the parking lot at 7 p.m.
The plot of “The Goonies” focuses on two brothers and their group of friends on a treasure hunt to find enough money to stop developers from building a golf course on their beloved neighborhood.
The comedic movie, “Neighbors,” stars Zac Efron and Seth Rogen as two opposing characters. One is a party-hard, college frat boy; the other is a settled-down, caring new father. The two are set against each other when they become neighbors and cannot agree on noise levels.
