Governor’s Brucellosis Coordination Team to Meet in Worland

A revised brucellosis-affected herd plan, review of a modeling project for cattle exports and a National Academy of Sciences brucellosis study are among discussion topics at the Governor’s Brucellosis Coordination Team meeting Wednesday, Nov. 12, in Worland.

The meeting, open to the public, is from 9 a.m.-4:30 p.m. at the Worland Community Center Complex, 1200 Culbertson Ave.

Also on the agenda are updates from the state veterinarian, Wyoming Game and Fish Department and the University of Wyoming on funded research projects.

A report will be given on the revised brucellosis-affected herd plan for cattle and bison, a review conducted of a modeling project for cattle exports in the greater Yellowstone area, and discussion of the National Academy of Sciences study of brucellosis in the Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem.
