These are among the activities scheduled Oct. 20-26 at the University of Wyoming:

Monday, Oct. 20, 7 p.m. -- Ana Cupril, the first Latina to chair a state Democratic Party in the United States, discusses “A Non-Traditional Path to Politics,” Wyoming Union Family Room. Free.

Tuesday, Oct. 21, 1:30 p.m. -- School of Energy Resources distinguished speaker, George Hirasaki, discusses “CO2 Foam Mobility Control for Carbonate Formations,” Energy Innovation Center Encana Auditorium. Free.

Tuesday, Oct. 21, 3 p.m. -- Undergraduate students in the Department of History present their research results, Room 1055 of the College of Engineering Building. Free.

Tuesday, Oct. 21, 3:30 p.m. -- BioMusica concert combines music and science with the Verismo Trio, a piano-flute-saxophone group, Berry Biodiversity Conservation Center. Free.

Wednesday, Oct 22, 6 p.m. -- “Art in the 21st Century” exhibition opens in the Visual Arts Building with screening of “Episode 3: Legacy.” Free.

Thursday, Oct. 23, 2 p.m. -- Ohio State University Professor Matt Stoltzfus discusses “Unlikely Ed Fellows. How Bill Simmons, the Amish and Edwin Porter Helped Flip My Classroom,” Room 1062 of the College of Engineering Building. Free.

Thursday, Oct. 23, 7 p.m. -- UW Volleyball vs. Utah State, UniWyo Sports Complex. Tickets cost $8 for the public, $5 youths (ages 3-18 years) and free for UW students.

Thursday, Oct. 23, 7:30 p.m. -- Collegiate Chorale fall concert, Buchanan Center for the Performing Arts. $10 public, $7 seniors, $6 students.

Friday, Oct. 24, 11 a.m. -- Grand opening and ribbon-cutting ceremony for the new Marian H. Rochelle Gateway Center, corner of 22nd Street and Grand Avenue. Free.

Friday, Oct. 24, 6 p.m. -- Opening reception for students Adam Helzer and Molly Markow’s work in the Visual Arts Building. Free.

Friday, Oct. 24, 9 p.m. -- Atlanta a cappella quartet KaZual performs in the Wyoming Union Ballroom. Free.

Friday, Oct. 24, 6:30, 9 and 11:30 p.m. -- Friday Night Fever movie, “Guardians of the Galaxy,” Wyoming Union Family Room. Free.

Saturday, Oct. 25, 7:30 p.m. -- UW Cultural Programs presents the Ririe-Woodbury Dance Company collaborating with UW theatre and dance students, College of Arts and Sciences auditorium. $23 adults, $19 for senior citizens, faculty and staff and $10 students.
