UW Lifesavers Coalition Offers Resources to Help Distressed Students

Have you ever been concerned about a student but did not know what to say?

Have you ever considered what you would do if a student acted out in class?

Many caring University of Wyoming staff and faculty members have similar concerns and questions. As a result, members of the UW Lifesavers Coalition have developed materials to help employees work with distressed students, especially when addressing concerns that students, employees or others have noticed.

Employees this week will receive in their campus mailboxes a resource file folder for “Responding to Students in Distress” and a “Campus Counseling Resources” brochure. The file folder also is available in PDF form by clicking here.
