The official call for entries is available online for the University of Wyoming Art Museum’s 40th annual Juried Student Exhibition in the spring.

Students have until Friday, Dec. 19, to submit up to three works for consideration at www.callforentry.org. The exhibition will be on view at the UW Art Museum from Feb. 14-March 21, with an opening reception and awards ceremony from 6-8 p.m. Friday, Feb. 13.

The annual Juried UW Student Exhibition is open to any student enrolled at UW during the current academic year. For the first time, the exhibition also is open to any in-state student enrolled through the Outreach School. UW students on campus and statewide are encouraged to submit their original artwork for consideration.

A juror from outside Wyoming is selected each year to choose artwork for the exhibition. This year’s juror is Kelly Baum, the Haskell Curator of Modern and Contemporary Art at the Princeton University Art Museum.

For more information, call the Art Museum at (307) 766-6622, visit the website at www.uwyo.edu/artmuseum, or follow on Facebook and Instagram.

Through its "Museum as Classroom" approach, the UW Art Museum places art at the center of learning for all ages. The museum is located in the Centennial Complex at 2111 Willett Drive. Hours are Tuesdays through Saturdays from 10 a.m.-5 p.m. and from 10 a.m.-9 p.m. Mondays. Admission is free.
