January 30, 2015 — The University of Wyoming Department of Music’s spring Faculty Recital Series opens with “An Evening of Reed Trios” Monday, Feb. 9, at 7 p.m. in the Buchanan Center for the Performing Arts concert hall. Admission is free and open to the public.

UW Nordic Skiers Perform Well at World University Games

January 30, 2015 — A pair of University of Wyoming Nordic ski club team members have performed well during the early portion of the World University Games in Strbske Pleso, Slovakia.

January 27, 2015 — The southwest Greenland ice sheet is not one giant, solid mass but, rather, a tapestry of gushing rivers, lakes and streams that efficiently drains meltwater off its surface -- and stores about 25 percent of this runoff deep below, either in the body of the ice itself or at the base of the ice sheet between the ice and underlying rock.
