Monday, March 2, 3:10 p.m. -- Department of Geology and Geophysics Distinguished Lecturer Series presents Cara Santelli, “Minerals, Microbes, and Metals: Linking Biomineralization to Environmental Remediation,” S.H. Knight Geology Building, Room 216. Free.

Monday, March 2, 5:30 p.m. -- Global energy discussion, “Addressing Global Energy-Environmental Realities, Opportunities and Challenges from Multiple Disciplinary and Stakeholder Perspectives,” UW Berry Biodiversity Conservation Center auditorium. Free.

Monday, March 2, 7:30 p.m. -- The Shakespeare Project presents “Much Ado About Nothing,” Buchanan Center for the Performing Arts. Tickets are $7 for students, $11 for seniors and $14 for the public.

Tuesday, March 3, 7:30 p.m. -- The Shakespeare Project presents “The Merchant of Venice,” Buchanan Center for the Performing Arts. Tickets are $7 for students, $11 for seniors and $14 for the public.

Wednesday, March 4, noon -- Exploring Majors Fair, Wyoming Union Ballroom. Free. View more information about the event here.

Wednesday, March 4, 7 p.m. -- Cowboys basketball vs. Utah State, UW Arena-Auditorium. Ticket prices vary.

Wednesday, March 4, 7:30 p.m. -- The Shakespeare Project presents “A Midsummer Night’s Dream,” Buchanan Center for the Performing Arts. Tickets are $7 for students, $11 for seniors and $14 for the public.

Wednesday, March 4, 8 p.m. -- Poetry Slam, lower level of the Wyoming Union. Free.

Thursday, March 5, 8 a.m. -- Last day for ‘Peripheries’ Exhibition, Gallery 234, lower level of the Wyoming Union. Free.

Thursday, March 5, 5 p.m. -- Full-moon snowshoe trip, Happy Jack Recreation Area. Cost is $28 for students and $34 for faculty/staff. View more information here.

Thursday, March 5, 7:30 p.m. -- The Shakespeare Project presents “Much Ado About Nothing,” Buchanan Center for the Performing Arts. Tickets are $7 for students, $11 for seniors and $14 for the public.

Friday, March 6, noon -- School of Energy Resources Speaker Series presents Vladimir Alvadaro, Energy Innovation Center, Room 201. Free.

Friday, March 6, 6:30 p.m. -- Friday Night Fever presents the film “Into the Woods,” Wyoming Union Family Room. Free.

Friday, March 6, 7 p.m. -- Cowgirls basketball vs. New Mexico, UW Arena-Auditorium. Ticket prices vary.

Friday, March 6, 7:30 p.m. -- Edgar Meyer and Mike Marshall performance, Buchanan Center for the Performing Arts. Tickets are $10 for students; $23 for faculty/staff and seniors; and $26 for the public.

Friday, March 6, 7:30 p.m. -- The Shakespeare Project presents “The Merchant of Venice,” Buchanan Center for the Performing Arts. Tickets are $7 for students, $11 for seniors and $14 for the public.

Friday, March 6, 9 p.m. -- Friday Night Fever presents Pink Prom, Wyoming Union Ballroom. Free.

Saturday, March 7, 2 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. -- Actors From The London Stage presents “Macbeth,” Buchanan Center for the Performing Arts. Tickets are $7 for students, $11 for seniors and $14 for the public.
