Today’s UW Spring Faculty Meeting to Air Via WyoCast

March 24, 2015

People unable to attend today’s spring faculty meeting at the University of Wyoming may watch the event, live or recorded, via UW’s WyoCast system.

The 4:10-5 p.m. meeting takes place in the Wyoming Union Yellowstone Ballroom, featuring presentations by President Dick McGinity and Vice President for Academic Affairs David Jones.

To access the video feed, click here.

The link will show “Waiting for presentation to begin” until 4 p.m. today. After 4, while the broadcast is underway, clicking the link will take the viewer to the live feed (within one minute of live).

The presentation then will be unavailable for about five minutes while it finalizes and converts to an on-demand presentation. Any time after about 5:30 p.m., clicking the same link will take users to the on-demand recording where they can fast forward, rewind and pause.

McGinity and Jones are scheduled to review the 2015 legislative session, provide an update on the strategic planning process, and discuss other issues and topics of interest. A question-and-answer session will follow.

Immediately following the meeting, the president will host a reception in the hallway outside the ballroom.

For questions and additional information, call the Office of the President, 766-4121.
