Monday, March 9, 3:10 p.m. -- Department of Geology and Geophysics Distinguished Lecturer Series presents Jim Clay, “Groundwater Restoration Research at an In Situ Recovery (ISR) Uranium Mine,” S.H. Knight Geology Building Room 216. Free.

Monday, March 9, 4 p.m. -- Betsy Goudey, ASUW student attorney, presents “Student Rights,” Wyoming Union East Ballroom. Free.

Monday, March 9, 6 p.m. -- Art Talk and panel discussion for “Ley Lines,” UW Art Museum. Free.

Tuesday, March 10, noon -- Best-selling Wyoming author C.J. Box reading from his latest work, “Endangered,” and book signing, American Heritage Center. Free.

Tuesday, March 10, 5 p.m. -- Bhanu Kapil, MFA eminent writer in residence, public reading, UW Art Museum. Free.

Tuesday, March 10, 6 p.m. -- Author Adam Hochschild’s “1914-1918: The War Within the War,” book discussion, Classroom Building Room 314. Free.

Wednesday, March 11, noon -- BioMusica Concert, Berry Biodiversity Conservation Center lobby. Free.

Thursday, March 12, 9 a.m.-4 p.m. -- Ceramic Art Guild annual mug and bowl fundraiser, Visual Arts Building lobby. Free.

Thursday, March 12, 4:10 p.m. -- UW Department of Mathematics Fisk Distinguished Lecture given by Peter Olver, “Dispersive Quantization of Linear and Nonlinear Waves,” Agriculture Building Room 1030. A pre-talk reception will be at 3:30 p.m. in Ross Hall Room 223. Free.

Thursday, March 12, 6 p.m. -- Association of Black Student Leaders (ABSL) soul food dinner, Cheney International Center basement. Free.

Thursday, March 12, 7 p.m. -- Art Talk with visiting artist Shane Weaver, Visual Arts Building Room 111. Free.

Friday, March 13, noon -- School of Energy Resources Speaker Series presents Shawn Taylor, Wyoming Rural Electric Association executive director, Energy Innovation Center Room 201. Free.

Friday, March 13, 6 p.m. -- Opening reception for Mark Sanders and Rachel Howerton student exhibition, Visual Arts Building. Free.

Friday, March 13, 7 p.m. -- Planetarium show “Pale Blue Dot.” A Led Zeppelin Unbound laser show follows at 8:20 p.m. Tickets cost $2 for students and $3 for nonstudents, Physical Sciences Building basement, advance tickets available in Room 204 of the Physical Sciences Building.

Saturday, March 14 -- Spring break backpacking and yoga trip, Utah. Cost is $255 for students and $300 for faculty/staff. Limit 10 participants. View here for more information.

Saturday, March 14 -- Spring break rock climbing and canyoneering trip, Moab, Utah. Cost is $360 for students and $430 for faculty/staff. Limit 10 participants. View here for more information.

Saturday, March 14, 4 p.m. -- Children’s planetarium show “Introduction to Astronomy.” Tickets cost $2 for students and $3 for nonstudents, hysical Sciences Building basement, advance tickets available in Room 204 of the Physical Sciences Building.

Sunday, March 15, 10 a.m. -- Cowgirl tennis vs. Montana, UW Indoor Tennis Complex. Ticket prices vary.
