Biodiversity Research and Conservation Grants

May 26, 2015

All University of Wyoming faculty members are eligible for a new research grant program offered by the Biodiversity Institute. Full proposals are due by Tuesday, Sept. 22.

Proposals will have two major, broad research themes to inform major concerns of both global and regional importance. These themes are:

What is the effect of geographical/spatial variation on biological diversity? And how does the distribution and quantity of water (an increasingly scarce resource) affect biodiversity, processes that generate and maintain biodiversity, and what are the consequences of human freshwater use for biodiversity?
