University of Wyoming Calendar for June 1-7

These are among the activities scheduled June 1-7 at the University of Wyoming:
Wednesday, June 3, 11 a.m. -- Planetarium show, “Forgotten Constellations.” Tickets cost $2 for students and $3 for nonstudents, Physical Sciences Building basement. Advance tickets are available in Room 204 of the Physical Sciences Building.
Wednesday, June 3, 11:45 a.m.-1 p.m. -- Americana band J Shogren Shanghai’d will perform for the UW Summer Programs concert series on Simpson Plaza. Free.
Wednesday, June 3, 5:30 p.m. -- Three graduate students in the UW Global and Area Studies Program will present the results of their international field work, Centennial branch of the Albany County Public Library. Free.
Friday, June 5, 8 p.m. -- Planetarium show, “Greek Mythology.” A tour of the STAR Observatory follows at 9 p.m. Tickets cost $2 for students and $3 for nonstudents, Physical Sciences Building basement. Advance tickets are available in Room 204 of the Physical Sciences Building.
A variety of exhibitions can be seen at the UW Art Museum in the Centennial Complex, 2111 Willett Drive in Laramie. The museum is open Mondays through Saturdays from 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Free.
The UW Department of Botany’s Williams Conservatory is open to the public Mondays through Fridays from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Free.
Dinosaur skeletons, ancient mammal fossils and other exhibits are on display in the UW Geological Museum, open Mondays through Saturdays from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Free.
