These are among the activities scheduled May 4-10 at the University of Wyoming:

Monday, May 4, 3:10 p.m. -- Department of Geology and Geophysics Distinguished Lecturer Series presents Chris Paola, University of Minnesota-Twin Cities, S.H. Knight Geology Building Room 216. Free.

Monday, May 4, 6:30 p.m. -- “Who Owns Water” movie night, Arts and Sciences Building Room 210. Free.

Tuesday, May 5, 5 p.m. -- Biodiversity Movie Night presents Disney’s “Bambi,” Berry Biodiversity Conservation Center Room 138. Free.

Tuesday, May 5, 6 p.m. -- Magdy Martinez-Soliman, assistant secretary-general of the United Nations Development Program, will discuss progress toward the UN’s Millennium Development goals created in 2000 and outline the next phase of UN efforts related to sustainable development, Business Building Room 127. Free.

Wednesday, May 6, 8 p.m. -- The Student Activities Council and StudioWyo present “Pianos Become the Teeth,” College of Education auditorium. Free.

Thursday, May 7, 7:30 p.m. -- “Choral Collage” featuring the Collegiate Chorale, Singing Statesmen and Bel Canto, Buchanan Center for the Performing Arts concert hall. Free.

Friday, May 8, 11 a.m.-1 p.m. -- The Student Activities Council presents Dead Floyd in concert during the Union Fest at Simpson Plaza. Free.

Friday, May 8, 6:30 p.m. -- Friday Night Fever presents “The Lazarus Effect,” Wyoming Union Family Room. Free.

Friday, May 8, 7 p.m. -- Planetarium show, “The Great Pluto Debate.” A tour of the STAR Observatory follows at 8:20 p.m. Tickets cost $2 for students and $3 for nonstudents, Physical Sciences Building basement. Advance tickets are available in Room 204 of the Physical Sciences Building.

Friday, May 8, 9 p.m. -- Friday Night Fever presents “Destresser,” Wyoming Union. Free.

Saturday, May 9, 7:30 p.m. -- Happy Jacks concert, Buchanan Center for the Performing Arts concert hall. Donations will be accepted at the door.
