An energy expert will discuss future prospects amid low oil prices Friday, June 19, at the University of Wyoming.
Distinguished speaker Steven Carpenter is scheduled to speak at noon in the Encana Auditorium, Room 201, of the Energy Innovation Center, hosted by the Enhanced Oil Recovery Institute. The presentation will be live-streamed via WyoCast and recorded for future viewing.
Carpenter has been engaged in the oil and gas sector for the last 10 years, and in mining and international energy for the past 25 years. He holds a bachelor's degree in physics, a master's degree in environmental public policy, and is finishing his Ph.D. in transdisciplinary approaches to carbon capture, utilization and storage research in North America.
