Flood Aftermath Resources Available From University of Wyoming Extension

June 5, 2015

Resources to help people solve problems caused by floodwaters are available through the Wyoming Extension Disaster Education Network (EDEN), says University of Wyoming Extension educator Scott Cotton.

Cotton is the EDEN national chair-elect. The Wyoming website is http://bit.ly/uweden.

UW Extension provides the resource, and information ranges from cleaning up a home after flooding to disinfecting a water well. There also is information to help homeowners and landowners threatened by floodwaters.

"UW Extension is an active partner in EDEN, which provides us direct access to flooding specialists and information that can be found on the national EDEN website at https://extensiondisaster.net/hazard-resources/naturally-occurring/flood/,” Cotton says.
