Steam Shutdown Begins July 17 at UW

The University of Wyoming Physical Plant reports that the annual campus steam shutdown will begin at 4 p.m. Friday, July 17, and will continue through the morning of Monday, Aug. 17.

Most campus buildings bounded from 22nd to Ninth and Ivinson to Lewis streets will not have hot water or steam during the shutdown.

A portable boiler will be placed near the Washakie Dining Hall beginning Monday, July 13, and remain on site until Thursday, Aug. 20.
