Volunteers to March in Saturday’s Jubilee Days Parade

The University of Wyoming Pride Committee is looking for volunteers to don their brown and gold and walk with UW’s parade contingent and the president’s vehicle during the Laramie Jubilee Days Parade, Saturday, July 11. 

The parade will start lining up at 8 a.m. on Canby Street between Fifth and Ninth streets at LaBonte Park. Volunteers should be there no later than 9 a.m. The parade route consists of an approximately 3-mile walk through downtown Laramie starting at 10 a.m. and should conclude by 11 a.m.

Volunteers are needed to carry flags and banners, and to throw out candy and giveaways to the spectators; children and dogs are welcome.
