Leadership Wyoming Class Includes Three from UW

August 3, 2015

Three representatives from the University of Wyoming are among those selected to participate in the 16th Leadership Wyoming class.

UW personnel selected are Emma Jane Alexander, School of Energy Resources assistant research scientist; Christina Kuzmych, Wyoming Public Radio general manager; and Mark Lyford, Department of Botany lecturer and director of the Life Sciences Program. They will attend an orientation session Aug. 6-7 at UW.

A Wyoming Heritage Foundation and UW program, Leadership Wyoming provides opportunities for a diverse group of Wyoming citizens to participate in a challenging and thought-provoking nine-month educational experience. The experience begins with an orientation session at UW this month, followed by sessions from September through May at Jackson, Gillette, Rock Springs, Lander/Riverton, Cheyenne, Casper and Sheridan.

Since 2001, 622 people from throughout the state have graduated from the program. For more information, call (307) 577-8000 or go to the website at
