Folk-alternative rock band Fruition will perform at the University of Wyoming Wednesday, Nov. 11, at 8 p.m. in the lower level of the Wyoming Union. The event is free and open to the public.
The Portland-based band’s single, “Mountain Annie,” has become an Americana classic and garnered steady airplay at SiriusXM’s JamOn.
Band members are Jay Cobb Anderson, vocals, lead guitar and harmonica; Kellen Asebroek, vocals, rhythm guitar and piano; Mimi Naja, vocals, mandolin, and electric and acoustic guitar; Jeff Leonard, bass; and Tyler Thompson, drums and banjo.
The band has performed at various festivals and venues, including Jamcruise, High Sierra Music Festival, Colorado’s Fox Theater, San Francisco’s Fillmore and the Great American Music Hall. Fruition has toured and collaborated with Elephant Revival, Railroad Earth, ALO, Infamous Stringdusters, Leftover Salmon, Greensky Bluegrass, and The Head and The Heart.
