Tri Delta Clothing Drive Underway

The University of Wyoming chapter of the Delta Delta Delta (Tri Delta) sorority is sponsoring a clothing drive to benefit the Clothing Cottage Thrift Boutique, a nonprofit organization in Laramie.

The clothing drive will continue through Friday, Nov. 20. Clothing for all sizes, genders and ages can be brought to the Tri Delta sorority or put in any of the drop boxes that will be placed around campus for this purpose. Boxes will be located in each of the campus sororities, Washakie Center and the Wyoming Union.

The Clothing Cottage serves Laramie and the surrounding communities through the redistribution of quality used clothing, shoes, household items and jewelry at low prices. The store, open Tuesdays through Saturdays, accepts donation of items anytime during business hours. Clothing that cannot be resold is sent to a textile recycler.

The Clothing Cottage further partners with other organizations to help those in need by sharing free clothing and household items, serving more than 150 individuals in October. Proceeds from sales benefit other Laramie nonprofit community organizations.
