Comedian and actor T.J. Miller is scheduled to perform Saturday, March 5, at the University of Wyoming.

Tickets for the show, set for 8 p.m. in the UW College of Arts and Sciences auditorium, are on sale to UW students with valid student IDs for $10. Tickets go on sale to the public Monday, Feb. 15, at a cost of $20.

Tickets can be purchased at the Wyoming Union information desk, the Buchanan Center for the Performing Arts box office or online at www.uwyo.edu/finearts.

Miller, from Denver, attended George Washington University in Washington, D.C. In 2015, the comedian won the Critics' Choice Television Award for Best Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series for his role in the HBO show “Silicon Valley.”

Miller started his comedic career touring with improvisation groups. Before being discovered, Miller appeared on comedy shows such as “Chelsea Lately.” After that, the comedian was asked to host Comedy Central’s “No Real Reason” and “Mash Up.” With this experience, Miller expanded his career into film and music.

His film debut was in “Cloverfield,” in which he played the main character who videotaped the events that were portrayed. He has played characters in many movies, but Miller’s most recent project is his role in the feature film “Deadpool,” opening nationwide Feb. 12.

Miller also released a comedy-rap album, “The Extended Play E.P.”
