Incoming UW President to Appear on Wyoming PBS

Incoming University of Wyoming President Laurie Nichols will share her views on a range of topics when she is a guest on the information program “Wyoming Signatures” Sunday, Feb. 14, at 5:30 p.m. on Wyoming Public Television.

Nichols, who will begin her UW position May 16, will share her views on UW’s unique role in Wyoming, the importance of diversity, her experience in dealing with budget cuts, program reviews and strategic planning, the importance of faculty participation in those processes and the role of athletics.

Also on the program is UW Faculty Senate Chair Tucker Readdy, who will discuss faculty perspectives on higher education issues.
