Musician Shakey Graves to Perform at UW Feb. 27

Renowned folk-rock musician Shakey Graves will perform Saturday, Feb. 27, at 8 p.m. in the University of Wyoming College of Arts and Sciences auditorium.

Tickets cost $20 with a valid UW student ID and $30 for the public. Tickets can be purchased at the Wyoming Union information desk, the Buchanan Center for the Performing Arts box office or online at www.uwyo.edu/finearts.

Born Alejandro Rose-Garcia, Shakey Graves is a one-man band specializing in blues, country and rock ‘n’ roll. He received his iconic stage name in 2007 while joking with friends.

Shakey Graves has received national recognition performing at various festivals and venues across the United States. In 2015, he won the Best Emerging Artist award at the Americana Music Awards. 

He has appeared on “Conan,” “Late Show with David Letterman” and the public television show “Austin City Limits.”
