American Foreign Policy, 2016 Elections Topic of UW Discussion Aug. 26

August 11, 2016

A program focusing on American foreign policy and the 2016 elections is scheduled at 5 p.m. Friday, Aug. 26, in Room 121 of the University of Wyoming College of Business.

With the looming November U.S. presidential elections, American foreign policy may take on a different direction as a new administration takes the reins. The panel discussion, titled “American Foreign Policy and the 2016 Elections,” brings together a distinguished group of international relations experts to discuss current challenges facing the United States and the impact the November election may have on the global situation.

The panel speakers and their bios are: Michael Barnett, George Washington University; Jean Garrison, UW; Stephen Krasner, Stanford University; and Janice Stein, University of Toronto.

The UW Center for Global Studies hosts the free public event that launches the fall program series. Sponsors are the Rocky Mountain Power Foundation and UW partners Global and Area Studies, and the Outreach School.
