Fall MBA Program Enrollment Increases at UW

The University of Wyoming Master of Business Administration (MBA) Program’s continued success in experiential learning, leadership development, international programs and job placement has led to an almost 20 percent increase in enrollment this fall.

The UW MBA Program is consistently ranked as a “best value” and “best buy” program. The program is accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business, an accreditation reserved for the top 5 percent of business schools worldwide.

“Students are afforded unique opportunities to diversify their experience portfolio and become highly competitive in today’s marketplace with access to the program’s integrated and applied curriculum,” says Tanner Parmely, MBA Program recruiter. “Success can be seen by an almost 100 percent placement rate upon graduation from the UW MBA Program.”

Both on campus and online, students are introduced to experienced, tenured faculty members who take an integrative approach to theory and practice with an emphasis on project management, leadership and effective business communication skills. In addition, the UW MBA Program maintains low student-to-faculty ratios to facilitate a tailored approach to student professional development.

Parmely says the 20 percent increase is reflected for both the campus and online programs. Twenty-three students will be in the program on the UW campus this fall.

Classes for the fall 2016 semester begin Aug. 29. Applications are now being accepted for the fall 2017 term.

“Early admissions will begin in November, and students will be accepted on a rolling basis until classes are full, or June 30, 2017, whichever comes first,” Parmely says. “Taking the first step to continue your graduate education is a big one. The MBA Program office will gladly respond to all inquiries and work with you to make the application process as simple as possible.”
