Foreign and domestic affairs, and student safety while studying abroad will be topics on the University of Wyoming news and information program “Wyoming Signatures” Sunday, Sept. 25, at 5:30 p.m. on Wyoming Public Television.
Jean Garrison, UW professor of global and area studies, and political science, will describe how the most pressing foreign affairs priority is solving the country’s many domestic problems first so the United States might regain credibility on the world stage.
In another segment, Mary Katherine Scott, UW International Programs acting director, will explain how UW students studying abroad can avoid danger at the hands of terrorists.
Also, Wyoming U.S. House candidate Ryan Greene will discuss his positions on issues, including the need to diversify the state’s economy and prevent the transfer of public lands to states or private individuals.
“Wyoming Signatures” is produced by UWTV of the UW Outreach School. Wyoming PBS can be seen over the air and via cable or satellite in communities throughout Wyoming. A complete list of channels can be found at www.wyomingpbs.org/coverage.php.
