Free Tailgate Banner Contest for UW Homecoming Week

The University of Wyoming’s Copy and Print Center is sponsoring a contest for a free personalized banner of the winner’s choice. The winner will be announced Monday, Oct. 3, the beginning of homecoming week.

UW staff, faculty, students and Laramie community residents are allowed to enter as many times as they wish.

Participants will create a poster that will be made into outdoor banner material and will be 3 feet wide by 6 feet long. Cold laminate for weather protection and grommets can be added to hang the banner.

The winner can promote or display any logo or statement he or she wishes to add onto the banner. The Copy and Print Center’s designer will work with the winner to create a banner of his or her choice for tailgate events.

“As Cowboy fans, we wanted to give everyone a chance to show their brown and gold spirit for these events,” says John Scozzafava, UW Copy and Print Center manager. “Homecoming is a great time for getting together, and this banner will be a great part of that.”

To enter the contest, like the Copy and Print Center on Facebook and like the post about the banner, or stop in Room 114 of the Wyoming Union to fill out an information sheet.

“This is a gift from the Copy and Print Center to show our great appreciation to UW and for the Laramie community’s dedication to us,” Scozzafava says.
