Sexual Misconduct and Duty to Report Course Mandatory for All UW Employees

All University of Wyoming employees (full-time, part-time, benefited, non-benefited, faculty, staff, hourly, work-study and graduate assistants) are responsible for responding to and reporting sexual misconduct.

A required course provides background information pertaining to laws and definitions of sexual misconduct; outlines every employee’s duty to report; and provides information on what happens after an incident is reported. This training is offered in person and as an online module.

To view the schedule and instructions for registering for either online or in-person sessions, visit www.uwyo.edu/diversity/epo/epotraining/index.html.

All employees are required to take this course one time. If you have already attended an in-person session or taken the online module, you have fulfilled the requirement.

New employees must take the course within the first 90 days of employment. For questions, call 766-3459 or email jforsyth@uwyo.edu.
