University of Wyoming Calendar for Jan. 23-29

These are among the activities scheduled Jan. 23-29 at the University of Wyoming:

Monday, Jan. 23 -- Spring semester classes begin.

Monday, Jan. 23 -- UW Outdoor Program spring sign-ups begin. Go to the Outdoor Program office in the Half Acre Recreation and Wellness Center or call (307) 766-2402.

Tuesday, Jan. 24, 7 p.m. -- Planetarium show, “The Dark Matter Mystery: Exploring a Cosmic Secret.” Tickets cost $3 for students and $4 for non-students, Physical Sciences Building basement. Advance tickets are available in the Physical Sciences Building, Room 204.

Wednesday, Jan. 25, 7 p.m. -- Cowboy basketball vs. UNLV, Arena-Auditorium. Ticket prices vary.

Wednesday, Jan. 25, 8 p.m. -- Trivia Night for UW students, held in the lower level of the Wyoming Union. Free.

Thursday, Jan. 26, 11 a.m.-1 p.m. -- The UW Campus Activities Center will host the Recognized Student Organization Club and Organization Fair in the Wyoming Union breezeway.

Friday, Jan. 27, 6:30 p.m., 9 p.m. and 11:30 p.m. -- The 7220 Entertainment Films Committee will present “Moana” in the Wyoming Union Family Room. Free.

Friday, Jan. 27, 8 p.m. -- Planetarium show, “Jewel of the Solar System.” A STAR Observatory tour (weather dependent) follows at 9 p.m. Tickets cost $3 for students and $4 for non-students, Physical Sciences Building basement. Advance tickets are available in the Physical Sciences Building, Room 204.

Saturday, Jan. 28, 10 a.m. -- Spring exhibitions open at the UW Art Museum. Free.

Saturday, Jan. 28, 11 a.m. -- Planetarium show, “A Look at the Sun, Earth and Moon System.” Tickets cost $3 for students and $4 for non-students, Physical Sciences Building basement. Advance tickets are available in the Physical Sciences Building, Room 204.

Saturday, Jan. 28, 4 p.m. -- Cowboy basketball vs. Boise State, Arena-Auditorium. Ticket prices vary.
