University of Wyoming employees are invited to self-identify as members of federally recognized populations.
By choosing to voluntarily self-identify your veteran, disability or other personal status, you enable UW to correctly assess its workforce and identify opportunities for growth.
“It is always our preference to use sound data to present the most accurate picture of the university. In addition, using data allows us to establish solid baselines, while setting ambitious goals for our future,” UW President Laurie Nichols says. “Ultimately, our goal is to become a more diverse, multicultural university, and data allow us to track progress toward this goal.”
Self-identification is easy and confidential.
To access the diversity identification screens, visit WyoWeb and log into “Employee Self Service.” Once you are there, click on “Personal Information.” From there, you can enter “Ethnic Groups,” “Veteran Status” and/or “Disability” and voluntarily self-identify.
Please see this informational two-minute video for information and instructions.
This is a confidential process, and all information will be maintained separately from other employment records. Declining to participate will not result in any adverse action.
Those with questions should call 766-3459 or visit www.uwyo.edu/diversity/epo/invitation-to-self-identify.html.
