UW Schedules Spring 2017 Commencement Events

The schedule has been set for the University of Wyoming’s major spring 2017 commencement activities, including a few changes from recent years.

The most significant change is the movement of the College of Arts and Sciences ceremony from Saturday to Friday evening.

This year’s Laramie campus commencement activities take place Friday and Saturday, May 12-13. Here is the schedule for the individual college ceremonies:

Friday, May 12

6 p.m. -- College of Arts and Sciences, Indoor Practice Facility.

Saturday, May 13

8:30 a.m. -- College of Health Sciences, Indoor Practice Facility.

9 a.m. -- College of Business, Arts and Sciences auditorium.

10 a.m. -- College of Law, Buchanan Center for the Performing Arts.

1:30 p.m. -- College of Education, Indoor Practice Facility.

1:30 p.m. -- College of Engineering and Applied Science, Arts and Sciences auditorium.

3:30 p.m. -- College of Agriculture and Natural Resources, Arts and Sciences auditorium.

Here is the schedule for other commencement activities determined at this point:

Friday, May 12

10:30 a.m. -- Fay W. Whitney School of Nursing Sigma Theta Tau ceremony, Arts and Sciences auditorium.

Noon -- Veterans Services Center ceremony and luncheon, Wyoming Union Ballroom.

2 p.m. -- Fay W. Whitney School of Nursing convocation, Arts and Sciences auditorium.

3 p.m. -- Multicultural graduation ceremony, Wyoming Union Ballroom.

Saturday, May 13

6 p.m. -- Army/Air Force ROTC commissioning ceremony, Buchanan Center for the Performing Arts.
